Chad Johnson Tweets Photo From Home Theater, Then Says He’s Broke

When we last heard from Chad Johnson in June he was being sentenced to 30 days in jail and facing major financial trouble with his expenses reportedly outpacing his income by more than $45,000 per month.

The ex-NFL standout receiver formerly known as Chad Ochocinco expressed his thoughts on a variety of topics via Twitter during Monday night’s game between the Ravens and Lions, including his “cold ass home theater.”

It was so cold — 65 degrees to be exact — that Johnson felt the need to wear a pair of Uggs.

Apparently some of Johnson’s over 3.6 million Twitter followers were aware of financial troubles.

The former 6-1, 188-pound wide out registered 766 receptions for 11,059 yards and 67 TDs in 11 NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals (2001-10) and New England Patriots (2011).
