During a commercial break of the 2013 Oscars, it was revealed that Baltimore Ravens wide receiver and Super Bowl XLVII champion Jacoby Jones will show off his fancy footwork in the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars.
The remainder of the cast will be announced on Tuesday’s Good Morning America and season 16 will debut on March 18.
Ward (season 12) and Driver (season 14) are among two of the three former NFL players to win the competition. Emmitt Smith, who was the second player to star on the show, won it all in season three and was an all-star contestant last season for season 15.
Jerry Rice (season two), Jason Taylor (season six) and Warren Sapp (season seven) have each been runner-ups.
In season eight, Lawrence Taylor also finished seventh and quarterback Kurt Warner finished fifth in season 11.
Jones could miss a significant portion of the Ravens’ offseason program, depending on his success on the show.
The 6-2, 220-pound wide out finished his sixth NFL season and first year with the Ravens in 2012 with 30 receptions for 406 yards and a score. He also accumulated 341 yards and a score on 37 punt returns and 1,167 kick return yards and two touchdowns on 38 attempts. The former 2007 third-round pick (No. 73 overall out of Lane) also made five catches for 147 yards with two TDs in the postseason.
Many argue he should have been named Super Bowl XLVII MVP as he collected 290 total yards and two touchdowns.
