This game clearly has me jumping for joy with these two sexy squads squaring off in beautiful San Diego.

In fact, this game should be so exhilarating that it may remind some of a video game. Tecmo Super Bowl should be the game by definition, but in reality that was last season’s Alamo Bowl between RGIII’s Baylor Bears and the Washington Huskies.

The game was like a toy where on the back of a package it stated in bold, “Defense and tackling sold separately.”

All joking aside, this game is can’t miss television because the winner may score half a hundred. The points will be flowing and the scouts will be drooling all over this one with a few future first and second round draft picks in this year’s Holiday Bowl.

Whichever NFL teams lands Baylor receiver Terrance Williams will be one lucky team and the same goes for UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin. The running back position is extremely thin heading into April and that is with Marcus Lattimore already declaring after suffering yet another season-ending injury.

Williams is filthy at stretching the field and coming away with circus grabs in traffic due to his freakish ability to reach up and grab darts in the dark. Having a great reach is always vital but being able to run routes and crush opponents’ on the home run ball does not hurt either.

Franklin is oddly similar as a bruising tailback that has great vision and balance while running, but his ability to bounce off tacklers for extra yards is amazing. Once he breaks it to the outside he is often asking for his reservations for six points, but he isn’t the only stud in this bowl game.

UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley, tight end Joseph Fauria and wide receiver Shaq Evans can dazzle the nation with several breathtaking moments.

Hundley is your typical duel-threat, but he is just a redshirt freshman that will only get better in time if he develops is vertical passing game. Fauria may be one of the five finest athletes at tight end, and Evans is a solid burner that can beat you deep if your secondary is lackadaisical.

Baylor has a former Oregon Duck that can outrun nearly any player in college football!

Lache Seastrunk is such a stud that it is beginning to get ridiculous with his relentless skills to take a handoff to the house on any given play. Quarterback Nick Florence is an underrated duel-threat that is impossible to contain because he has such stud weapons around him.

Florence may struggle under pressure because his not the most mobile of signal-callers, but the quick decisions he makes always helps his team’s success.

They had major struggles with a tough schedule early on, but all of a sudden they are playing as well as any team out there despite their 7-5 record.

Giving the slightest of edges to Baylor would be the pick here, although UCLA’s ability to move the ball on the ground against tougher competition makes this a tough decision.

Either way, this game is one you cannot miss thanks to several explosive playmakers that will soon be playing on Sunday’s!
