With today (Sept. 2) being the final Sunday without NFL action until February, teams all around the league are making minor adjustments to their final rosters and addressing any concerns that have recently developed.
Injuries to Sen’Derrick Marks (knee) and Jurrell Casey (elbow) kept both starting defensive tackles out of the Titans’ preseason finale and Leger Douzable (shoulder) has been placed on IR.
As a result, the Tennessee Titans plan to host a group of defensive linemen for evaluation and possibly addition to the roster, per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com.
A little additional pressure from the Titans’ front four can only help Jake Locker‘s chances of pulling off an unlikely upset in the season opener, as the second-year signal-caller leads Tennessee into a tough test against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots at LP Field on Sunday, Sept. 9.
Verse of This Piece: “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘Go fall into the sea.’ And if you have no doubts in your mind and believe that what you say will happen, God will do it for you. So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer, and God will give them to you.”—Mark 11:23-24
