Donald Stephenson, a third-round draft choice (74th overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs, has signed a four-year deal, the team announced Thursday morning.

The 6-6, 312-pound offensive lineman appeared in 30 games (27 starts) at the University of Oklahoma.

In addition to earning an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention by the Associated Press and coaches in 2011, Stephenson helped lead the program to two bowl victories; the first was a win over the University of Connecticut in the 2010 Fiesta Bowl and a victory over the University of Iowa in the 2011 Insight Bowl.

A local product of Missouri, Stephenson prepped at Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, MO, just 20 minutes east of Arrowhead Stadium.  Prior to his senior year, he transferred from Central High School in Kansas City, MO to Blue Springs.

Kansas City has now signed seven of its eight draftees from the 2012 NFL Draft.

First-round selection and massive defensive lineman Dontari Poe has yet to get a deal done, though the organization expects its top draft choice to sign soon.
